Tell Us About Your work in the world. What do you do?
Occupation: I am the Director of Business Administration at City Wide Facility Solutions Boston. I oversee our internal operations, marketing, training and development and most importantly our company culture.
What do you enjoy most about your current role? I love being part of a small but quickly growing company. Each day I feel like I am making a direct impact on the growth of the company. I also love our culture here - very driven and teamwork oriented!
What’s a challenging part of your job? A challenging part of my job is juggling a variety of responsibilities. Over the years I have learned to prioritize and ask for help when needed.
Any project/work planning tips for working through a challenging or complex request? I like to start at the resolution and work backwards. Fully understanding what the request may be and what the expected resolution is makes it faster and more efficient to help plan and resolve.
YPWA Involvement
What’s your WHY that led you to want to become a board member for the YPWA?
I wanted to get more involved in the community and also grow my network both personally and professionally. I enjoy being part of something that helps make an impact and that is what I believe the board does for members and the extended Worcester community.
What are two things you’d recommend to someone interested in getting more involved? The most important one would be share your feedback, it is so helpful for the board to know what our members are thinking so we can help create impactful events. Another one would be - reach out to other members or the board to make connections - we are all here to support each other!
