Current Member FAQ

As a YPWA member you might have some questions, here's a great list to check out!

What's my current membership status?

The all-important question. To check your status, follow these steps:

  • Locate and click on the Login icon for this site. It should be on the top right-hand side of the top navigation ribbon. 

  • A full-page sign-up display should appear, with a prompt to either complete current member sign-in or sign up to create a new login.

    • If you previously completed a subscription payment plan on our site, you should already have selected a login.

    • If none of the methods of signing in seem to work, it's likely that you haven't completed payment on our site yet. We transitioned to taking membership payment on YPWA's site midway through the 21-22 season vs. through a direct Paypal payment. The next step would be to click the Join link and purchase a returning membership plan.Once you select your login method and enter your information, the site should bring you to your Account Profile

  • You should see a list of account details under your name on the left-hand side of the page. Click on the My Subscriptions hyperlink.

  • You should see the status of your account from here:

    • You should see a blue Active icon with your expiration date for paid accounts.

    • For accounts requiring payment, you should see your subscription as Expired and the expiration date.

I want to purchase a returning membership plan. Where do I go?

Excellent, glad to have you back! You can purchase the plan by clicking on the Join link at the top right-hand side of the site. Next, select the Returning Member Select button, and you'll follow the step prompts:

  1. You'll sign in to the site or create a site login. This login will give you access to our Member Directory and the ability to check your membership status.

  2. Once you create the login, you'll follow the prompts to complete your payment. We do accept payment through most major credit cards and PayPal.

  3. Once you select the Buy Now button, a confirmation page should pop up, and you'll receive an email confirming your purchase. Please review the confirmation page or email, as it has a Google form link for you to provide us with some demographic information and the details you would like shared in the Member Directory. You may also elect not to participate through this form.

How do I update my contact information? What about in the directory?

Have a name change, or switch up your primary email address? Or did you get a new position at work? Wow, we love all of that for you! So please submit this form, which will notify the board to update any contact or directory information.

I want my company to consider covering my membership. Can you help?

The best way would be to connect your employer's HR/Marketing team to the YPWA's board through our email, contact@ypwaworcester.com. Our Sponsorship Director would be happy to help them navigate YPWA's sponsorship levels, including sponsored employee memberships.

What comes with my membership?

You'll have free access to all our events, or your ticket will automatically be at a discounted rate. Some events are exclusive to members only, while others allow non-members to join for an event fee. In addition, we have several discounted rates for area businesses and association memberships. They are all listed at the bottom of this page. It will also give you access to our Member Directory which lists contact details about current YPWA members, giving you access to tons of local connections! Whether reaching out about getting involved with a nonprofit, or just to grab a drink after work, we find these connections priceless.

I don't think I'm getting YPWA emails.

First you'll want to check your spam/junk folder. It's possible that your inbox has stricter routing for emails with images/formatting (which we often use). If you find our newsletters squirreled away, add us to your address book! 

Still can't find it? Go down to the bottom of this page and enter your email on our Subscribe Form. This form goes directly to our email server that issues our newsletters!
