Sip Into the Season: A Look Inside the YPWA Worcester 26-27 Season Kickoff
If you’ve been curious about what a YPWA event actually looks like, this one was a pretty perfect place to start!
On September 3rd, YPWA Worcester kicked off the 2026-2027 season at Steel & Wire Bar in Worcester for an evening called Sip Into the Season. The room was full of new faces, familiar ones, and the kind of energy that makes you remember why community matters.
The night opened with a warm welcome and a look at what’s ahead for YPWA this season. New board members were introduced, returning board members were celebrated, and members got a first look at the upcoming event lineup, member benefits, and all the ways YPWA creates opportunities to connect, grow, and thrive in the Worcester area. Crafting Cocktails!
Steel & Wire’s mixologists then took over and led the group through a hands-on cocktail making class. On the menu: an espresso martini and a lavender spritz.
Whether you opted for the cocktail or mocktail version, the experience was the same: learning something new, laughing with the women next to you, and walking away with a skill you’ll absolutely be showing off at your next dinner party!
This is what YPWA does. It takes the sometimes awkward exercise of professional networking and turns it into something that feels GOOD. You’re not standing around exchanging business cards. You’re making cocktails side by side with women who get it! Who are building careers, building community, and building something in Worcester worth showing up for.
What's In Store For the 2026-2027 Season?
Coming up on the YPWA calendar we have puppy yoga, a career panel, a charcuterie class, a moms and kids play date, and a candle making class (and that’s just what’s been announced so far)!
Events are open to members and non-members alike, though members get discounted/free ticket pricing and access to member-only events and perks. If you’ve been on the fence about joining, this is the season to do it!
