A Letter From Our President

Welcome to the 11th year of YPWA Worcester! I hope you’re as excited as I am for fall to begin and for a new season of events, networking, and friendships that come from being a member.

Whether you’ve been involved for 5+ years or only 5 months, there’s one thing that has always remained in the organization, and that is community. Our members represent various backgrounds, industries, years of experience, and consider different parts of Worcester and Central Mass their home. The one characteristic all members collectively share is the desire to be our best selves with the support of our family and friends. This year’s board of directors emulate that exact element with the passion and dedication they’ve already presented while event planning and familiarizing themselves with their new roles and responsibilities. I can already tell the lineup of events for the fall will be a lot of fun, and will cover topics that are needed and wanted based on this summer’s membership survey.

I want to thank all of YOU for continuing to be a member and remind you that your voice matters. If you have a concern, suggestion, or willingness to help the board with events and initiatives, please let us know! We want to ensure that a member’s experience is worthwhile enough that they encourage their friends to join the fun. All that to say, the board of directors and I are ready, and we cannot wait to see you at our kick-off on September 21st!
