About the event
Working on ways to concisely highlight yourself when networking? How about preparing to become an event panelist? We've got the platform for you to practice your speaking skills at Redemption Rock Brewery, Thursday, October 10th. You could walk away from the night with enough dough to buy a round for the brewery. Or to help your rainy day/ travel fund!Â
How the night will work:Â
Speech participants will be asked to come prepared with 2-3 short speeches, including:
- a 30 second elevator pitch introducing yourselfÂ
- a 90 second informational speech (on a topic of your choice)Â
- a 2 minute motivational speech (on a topic of your choice)
We will have have three judges reviewing the speeches, using criteria focused on:
- Content
- Delivery
- Language
All participants will receive the time limits and scoring outline as we get closer to the event. Â
Not interested in participating in the challenge? We are looking for audience members to come cheer on our participants and show their support. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
