Note: Applicants will be asked to rank their director preference, but they must be committed to take on any of these roles.
Board Member Commitments

Contribute to each monthly board meeting

Attend support the majority of YPWA coordinated events

Organize two YPWA events throughout the season

Maintain specific office role tasks

Dedicate ~3-5 hours a week to your planning and tasks

Be an ambassador for YPWA in the community!

Meet the Returning Board Members
We are excited to round out the end of our 22-23 season and look forward to bringing our new board members up to speed!
President
Gillian Murphy
This is Gillian's third season with the YPWA board, previously acting as Sponsorship and Membership Director positions. She's excited to lead the board and continue to foster new opportunities for our organization.
Vice President
Katherine Aguilar
Katherine takes on the VP role after being the Community Outreach & Inclusion Director. She's a WBJ 40 under 40 winner (`22) and is active with Pride Worcester and League of Women Voters while building her candle empire.
Marketing Director
Giselle Rivera-Flores
Giselle will continue to build on her work from last season as Marketing/PR Director. She is currently the Director of Communications for Senator Robyn Kennedy, the mindset & wellness coach, and is co-host of the local Don't Touch My Podcast.
