Behind The Ballot: a Fresh Perspective on Our Local Elections

Please join us on Wednesday, October 12th at Behind The Ballot, our October Young Professional Women’s Association of Worcester event. This nonpartisan event will begin at 5:30 pm and will feature an enlightening presentation from Worcester City Clerk Sue Ledoux as well as a delectable assortment of hors d’oeuvres provided by none other than Niche’s Hospitality’s new location of The Fix at 108 Grove Street in Worcester.
At Behind The Ballot we will engage in a dialog about the role that we as professional women play in the local Massachusetts elections and how the outcomes affect us and our community. Furthermore, we will learn about the brand new EARLY ELECTION OPTIONS as well as the registration and election process as a whole. We will also have the opportunity to preview the ballot questions and learn about our options as voters and citizens. Enjoy front row seats in a dynamic question and answer session with Ms. Ledoux. (Note: State Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th.)
A cash bar will be available for cocktails and other drinks. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by October 7th. If you have not already joined the YPWA for the 2016-2017 year, there will be an opportunity to do so at the event. The cost for annual membership is $75.
